Those three were playing in Strakal and were looking to keep going with the kind of music they experimented with Strakal : traditional music influenced by jazz, blues or funk... Mathieu Hamon, famous singer and collector of the Gallo (Eastern Brittany) Region came to join them and to offer a rich repertoire of traditional gallo songs in French. Finally, Josik Allot for the pipes and Hervé Naizin for the drums completed the band. Sylvain Girault will soon be asked by Mathieu Hamon to replace him as singer (august 1998) and will become the voice of this groovy-funky-trad music. The today members of the band are Patrice Paichereau (electric guitar), Philippe Janvier (bombard & biniou), Job Defernez (Bass & fretless), Sylvain Girault (voice), Hervé Naizin (drums), Gwendal Richard (mix). The melody is based on the vocals or on the biniou-bombard couple while the rythmic part is played by the guitars and the drums.
